Sumo Paint
This is web 2.0 at its best. If you need to make a logo, create a design quickly, or doctor a photo, go no further than the internet. There are a few internet based image editors, but Sumo Paint may be the best, for now. The Finnish-based company, Snap Group Ltd. has released a web-based, feature-laden image editor. You could use Sumo Paint on photographs, but it seems to be designed to create images from scratch. Budding artists should prepare to spend a few hours playing with all the easy-to-use features. The same tools you would expect to find on boxed software are found on this free version. At least for the casual artist, brush styles and layers are easier to work with than Adobe’s illustrator. Goodbye Gimp.
